On July 19, 2019, I was awakened in the night. I felt the bed shaking! Almost as if someone was saying … “Get up! Pay attention! I want you to hear what I have to say!” Yes Lord – speak, please. Today, the Lord brought this conversation back to my attention. It is a word for today – at least for me! Perhaps for you too?
“I want you to prepare to go.” Go where Lord? Where are we going? “Prepare is the word – not go! You must prepare for what is ahead. ” How do I prepare? Show me how because I don’t know what to do.
“It’s a message I want you to speak: Prepare! You must prepare to go with me! You think you are prepared but you are not! To be prepared is to know me! To learn to hear my voice and respond to me. I am shaking things up and I want you to be prepared for what is ahead. It takes time to be prepared – to know me. To hear me clearly. I will teach you. Do you hear me? Or the voice of your mind? I want you to be sure that it’s me who is speaking.”
How can we be sure Lord? We want to hear you! We want to know you! Please teach us Holy Spirit.
“I speak in mysteries. You must allow me to show you my ways. I will make it clear as you draw close to me. As you spend time listening to me. I will shake things up so that you will pay attention! Do not fear for I am not speaking of calamity. I am speaking of a shaking in your inner being. A shaking of your thoughts and ways. I want to shake out the ideas you have of who I am and how I work. You cannot hear me in your mind. You must hear me in your heart – your inner being where I live. If you will pay attention I will make the way clear. Learn to follow me! I want you to look beyond man and beyond tradition – to look to me. I desire to show you who I am – to show you my ways! Come away with me and let me show you. I love you! Do not be afraid. Trust me!”
Lord I will speak. Please show me to whom I am to speak these thoughts and words. I feel somehow they are for me?
“Be prepared and I will open the way and time for you to speak these words. Intimacy is how you prepare. Get to know me!”
