Fill ‘er Up!

Fill ‘er Up!

Hi y’all (that’s Texan for hi everyone). Just a little something to encourage you – in case you are needing a little OIL in your tank! We cannot allow ourselves to become discouraged, fearful, or deceived. This is the season on God’s calendar where the little bit of oil continued to flow unceasingly. As we press into the Lord, the oil of the Holy Spirit will be poured out and poured into His people – not only enough to fill but also more than enough to spill over into the lives of those around us.

I heard something today that stood out to me – it was so powerful. Who are we choosing to believe? The lying prophets of Baal on Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc, or the men and women who are investing their time and lives seeking God’s face for our Nation in this vital hour? POWERFUL! God is speaking, but many cannot hear Him because they either don’t believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and God’s active engagement with His people, OR … if they do, they choose to believe, and spend more time listening to, the lying MEDIA prophets of the globalists! After all … we need to know what the news is saying, right? WRONG! Absolutely, unequivocally wrong! How in the world do you expect to believe God if you choose to invest more of your time listening to the media that is controlled by the Globalists and those who have launched this coup d’etat against our nation instead of God? No wonder so many people are conceding, sitting on the fence waiting to decide what they believe based upon what the outcome will prove, or simply don’t even know or care!

I’m made fun of because I don’t watch the news! It doesn’t mean I don’t keep up with the REAL news! It simply means I refuse to sit and listen to those who are lying, cheating, censoring, and seeking to control those who refuse to turn them off and instead to HEAR what GOD has to say! We must stop it! Jesus said, “those who hear MY voice, are my sheep and the voice of a stranger they will not hear!”

Okay, so back to the encouraging part! Just because things haven’t gone the way we think they should, does not mean God is not still at work! He is going to do this thing His way! He isn’t the least bit concerned about our discomfort. I had a friend who used to love to say, “God is more concerned about our character than He is our comfort”! Isn’t that the truth?! There is so much going on in the middle of this process and part of it is God is calling His Church to wake up, rise up, draw closer to Him, to grow up, and to choose a side (His or their own)! At the same time, He is uncovering the evil deeds, draining the swamp, getting ready to bring to justice those who have raped pillaged, plundered, murdered, and done vile things beyond our imaginations!

So, stay encouraged that God is God and His ways are not our ways! Let’s press into Him – listening to what He is saying and not being swayed by what the world, or even worse, the enemies of God are shouting! We can only stand strong as we are being built up by God, His word, His Spirit, and those who are being used as His mouthpieces throughout the world! There is SO MUCH to be hopeful about, so much to be expectant of, and so much to be thankful for as we press into these moments of a life-changing opportunity of embracing the Living God! Let the pages of the Bible come to life as He is speaking parallel stories to us about what He is doing. It’s the most exciting time of my Christian life and I hope it is yours, too!

Here is the living word I read this morning! I hope it blesses you, strengthens and encourages you, as it did me. Let’s don’t put our hope in earthly judges, situations, or events! Let’s look to God, for only He knows how He is going to accomplish this thing! Be strengthened so you can stand in the midst of turmoil and BELIEVE GOD … no matter what! When you’ve done all you can do – STAND, STAND, STAND! Let’s watch as The Judge delivers us from the grasp of the wicked! In Jesus’ name!

Asaph’s poetic song
All rise! For God now comes to judge
as he convenes heaven’s courtroom.
He judges every judge and rules over every ruler, saying,
“How long will you judges refuse to listen
to the voice of true justice and continue to corrupt what is right
by judging in favor of the wrong?”
Pause in his presence
“Defend the defenseless, the fatherless and the forgotten,
the disenfranchised and the destitute.
Your duty is to deliver the poor and the powerless;
liberate them from the grasp of the wicked.
But you continue in your darkness and ignorance
while the foundations of society are shaken to the core!
Didn’t I commission you as judges, saying,
‘You are all like gods, since you judge on my behalf.
You are all like sons of the Most High, my representatives.’
Nevertheless, in death you are nothing but mere men!
You will be laid in the ground like any prince and you will die.”
All rise! For God now takes his place as judge of all the earth.
Don’t you know that everything and everyone belongs to him?
The nations will be sifted in his hands! Psalm 82 (TPT)

Stay filled up by spending time listening to the Lord through His word, His Spirit, His prophets, His dreams, visions, whispers, and any other way He chooses to speak to you! Let’s bask in the Lord during this time of “the pouring out of the oil”. Be filled … It’s a command! Ephesians 5:18

And if all that isn’t enough, here’s a great sermon from Hank Kunneman
